You should be able to just drag and drop into the 'compose' window - I'm assuming that since it was taking 45min that you were attaching pictures one at a time? However, I attempted to do that this morning before work with NAIAS pictures and it crashed too

Maybe I'll try to just upload a mini-gallery later tonight.

It works with Google Chrome at least. Not sure about other browsers. One thing though, it won't keep the order of the pictures as they are organized in the folder on your computer. It kind of just uploads them all however the hell it wants.
